postheadericon Social Service in India, Helping the Needy

Have you ever thought of what happens to children whose parents belong to the lower than the lowest class and families in a society? However hard we try to imagine life in their status, it is simply quite difficult. Why, simply because we can’t fathom that kind of life, especially if we are able to eat more than three times a day. Simply because life as we know it is waking up each day, lying on a bed, bathing on clean water, eating food that has been served and going to school or work. That is how we live our lives.

On the other hand, children who belong to the poorest of families in India, those we consider slum children, go through each day thinking if they would be eating, and when. Those who live in the slum area, who don’t go to school, go through slum education.

As sad as we try to imagine things and how they go through day after day of this kind of existence, you can make a difference. Doing social service in India is not a far fetched concept. You can inquire with Tarang NGO, or you can search the internet, as well, other social services that you think would be applicable for you. After all, some people know how to help, some people know how to reach out, it just really depends on how they do this, and extend service to others. It is such a beautiful feeling to know that you are making a difference in someone’s life, what more if you would know that you would be making someone’s future brighter and better with the education they would be attaining because of your help.
